LOGITEL was pleased to attend Microsoft’s World Partner Conference (WPC) 2010 held at Washington, D.C. between July 11 and 16. This is the second consecutive year that we have taken part in the WPC and signifies our steadily growing and close relationship with Microsoft both as Certified Partner ourselves but also as the local agent of many vendors whose products we carry, which have aligned their portfolio with that of Microsoft in pursuit of joint business and improved interoperability for the benefit of our mutual customers. Particular focus was once more given in the area of Unified Communications, especially with the eagerly expected general availability of “Wave 14” later this year which touts many improvements and a renewed value added proposition over Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007 R2 and Microsoft Office Communicator. Also in the spotlight was Cloud Computing, as one would expect, following the rapid growth of this market segment in the last couple of years. We at LOGITEL will soon be making our own announcements of new offerings based on Cloud Services as part of our engagement in Microsoft’s BPOS ecosystem.
