- Managed Cloud and Hosting Services
In keeping up with the latest advancements and trends in the industry, as well as to enhance our Managed Services offering, LOGITEL has recently also included Cloud and Hosting Services to our already rich solutions portfolio. Our Managed Cloud Services and Managed Hosting Services present additional flexibility and cost savings opportunities for our partners and their customers.
By adopting such a flexible, on-demand, pay-per-use service model, customers can respond to the variable needs for computing and network connectivity, imposed by today’s fluctuating economic environment, more rapidly and efficiently than ever before. When choosing this dynamic, consumption-based mode of fulfilling ICT requirements, organizations are relieved from the up-front and ongoing costs, as well and the risks, of acquiring and maintaining their own technology infrastructure.
LOGITEL has established partnerships with leading Cloud/Hosting Service Providers and vendors, Internet Service Providers and Telecommunications Carriers, in order to provide the one of most complete service offerings available in the market. These strategic relationships, in combination with our Managed Services which are complemented by the talent and skill of our Professional Services team, ensure a timely, reliable, and trouble-free transition to Cloud and Hosted environments for our partners and their customers.
Software as a Service (SaaS)
Software as a Service (Saas) is a way of acquiring the right to use an application on a subscription-based model, as opposed to an up-front capital expenditure. This model is best suited for organizations that do not wish to relinquish their existing technology infrastructure or are not yet ready to transition to a service-based model. SaaS offers some of the same benefits as Cloud or Hosting Services, such us reduced up-front costs and increased flexibility, but only to the extent of software license acquisition and not as a holistic approach toward the function of the ICT department. Many vendors in LOGITEL’s solution portfolio offer their software products on a subscription basis. Partners and Resellers are encouraged to consider SaaS in conjunction with LOGITEL’s Professional Services and Managed Services offerings in order to reap the full benefits of increased efficiency and reliability along with the additional cost savings.
Communications as a Service (CaaS)
Communications as a Service (Caas) is a way of acquiring communications technology infrastructure on a subscription basis. Examples of solutions made available through this type of service model are PBX systems, Call Center systems, IVR systems, and others. The major difference between Software as a Service (SaaS) and a Communications as Service offering is that CaaS entails a complete system or solution, not just the software licenses. Most often customers subscribing to such services do not actively participate in the design, implementation, support, or maintenance of the system. The driving force behind the decision on such a solution is flexible and trouble-free access to the desired functionality and use, while operations are responsibility of the provider. LOGITEL makes a wide range of CaaS offerings available in on-premise, hosted, or even hybrid configurations, through specialized partners who customize their rich, pre-packaged feature set according to the requirements and needs of each customer.
