The Audiocodes Mediant 3000 enterprise session border controller (E-SBC) and media gateway provides a complete voice connectivity solution for medium-to-large sized enterprises.

Supporting up to 2,016 channels in a 2U NEBS-compliant platform, the Mediant 3000 offers versatile connectivity between TDM and VoIP networks. Its carrier-grade design delivers high availability through its 1+1 redundant architecture.

The platform connects any SIP to SIP environments and IP-PBXs to any SIP trunking service provider, scaling to 1008 concurrent VoIP sessions per shelf. The Mediant 3000 connects high-capacity TDM trunks to the packet-switched network, preserving investment in legacy telephone and PBX systems.

Large enterprises typically deploy business critical contact centers where the high availability of the Audiocodes Mediant 3000 is a key factor. In addition to E1/T1 interfaces, it supports high-density PSTN interfaces, such as T3, STM-1 and OC3 to provide the enterprise with lower PSTN lease costs.
